Yaesu System Fusion

From the desk of Frank Ross N1FDR. I have a Yaesu WiresX node which is coordinated with the K1BKE repeater. The node number is 30907. It can be accessed VIA the club repeater by any Yaesu radio capable of WiresX in the DN mode. Up to the rptr then down to my node and back to rptr, into your radio. Instructions on how to do this are available for your radio on the Yaesu website under the WiresX manual downloadable. Usable radios are the FT-991, FT-991a, FT70, FT1, FT2, FTM-100, FTM-400, the FTM-3200 will not do WiresX digital. 3/27/18 The FTM3200 with the latest firmware update will be WiresX  capable. As long as (or when) the node is connected to a “room” you will be able to join in on the conversation, which could be with stations all over the world. Frank Ross N1FDR@ARRL.NET (more…)
